  Update 8-7-17: After sending a letter of complaint to MMP, with substantiating documents, they corrected the billing issue. After that, the CEO contacted me directly to apologize, explain and ask for suggestions on how the company can improve their customer experience. His effort appeared genuine, and the time he took to completely resolve the problem made a big difference in my impression of the company, so I have upgraded my rating from one star to four.

  Terrible customer service. I called 6-26-17 at 9:10 a.m. regarding being retroactively billed in full for four recurring prescriptions that should have been run through the insurance company. (Subsequent months of these prescriptions were all run and covered by insurance.) I was told the insurance company rejected the claims. I told the MMP representative "Lisa" that the insurance company has no record of the prescriptions being submitted. Lisa said they were, and suggested I call the insurance company. I repeated that there is no record of the submission and asked her to submit them again. She said there was no reason to do that since the insurance company previously rejected the claim, which was not true. I asked Lisa what we could do to solve the problem. I'm not going to pay full price for prescriptions that are covered, and have been covered all along. Lisa said she had a meeting, and would call the insurance company after 10:00 a.m. then call me back. She took my phone number. As I expected from her poor handling of the matter so far, she did not call me back. So I am back to the beginning, forced to call back, sit on hold, and go through this whole issue again with another "customer service" person. MMP's customer service department needs some serious improvement. Extremely poor customer service!
